Fuzzy Business: Idle Clicker

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Fuzzy Business: Idle Clicker ("the game") is made by Renee Northey, an independent developer in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version: you never make an account, and we never ask for your name. The game uses a random player ID so we can fix bugs and balance the game. We never sell your information.

No accounts, no names

You don't need an account to play, and the game never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, exact location or photos.

What the game collects

  • A random player ID. The game creates a random code the first time you play (you can see it on the About & Legal page in the game). It isn't linked to your name, and we can't use it to find out who you are.
  • Gameplay information. For example: your progress, ascensions, rocket parts and launches, which features you use, and how long you play. We use this to balance the game and fix problems.
  • Purchase records. If you buy something, we receive the item, its price and the store's order number from Apple, Google or Steam. We never see or receive your payment card or bank details. The store handles the payment.
  • Ad information. The game shows an ad only when you choose to watch one for a reward. We record that you watched it, and the estimated amount the ad paid us.
  • Basic device information. Device model, operating system version, language, country or region (from your device settings) and crash reports, so we can make the game work on more devices.

Ads

Ads are provided by Google AdMob. We ask our ad partner to show non-personalized ads, which are not based on your interests or your activity in other apps. To show ads, limit how often you see the same one, prevent fraud and measure results, the ad partner may still collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address and device type, as described in its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy — you can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in your phone's settings.

Saving your game

Your saved game is stored on your device. If you choose to use Google Play Games / iCloud and Game Center to keep your progress across devices, your save is stored in your own Google or Apple account under their privacy policies. We can't see it.

Leaderboards and events (when added)

Some future events may let you see how your score ranks against other players. To do this, your score and random player ID are sent to our game server. No names are used or shown: other players never see who you are, and you never need to type a name.

Notifications (when added)

If you allow notifications on your device (for example, "An event has started"), the game receives a notification token from Apple or Google so it can send them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Sharing screenshots

The "Share a Screenshot" button makes a picture of your game screen on your device and opens your phone's own share menu. We don't receive the picture. If you choose to save it, your phone may ask permission to add it to your photos.

Mailing list (optional)

If you sign up for our mailing list on this website, we collect your email address to send you news about the game, such as updates, events and new games. We only email people who sign up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Our email service is Mailchimp, which stores the list for us.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply and to help you.

How we use information

  • To run the game, fix bugs and improve how it plays.
  • To understand how the game is played overall. We look at totals and averages, not at individual people.
  • To process and support purchases.
  • To keep events and leaderboards fair (for example, spotting impossible scores).

We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the game, and only for that purpose:

  • Unity Gaming Services (game analytics, and later events and leaderboards)
  • Google AdMob (ads)
  • Apple, Google and Steam (purchases, cloud saves, notifications)
  • Mailchimp (mailing list, only if you sign up)

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Where information is stored

Some of these providers store information on servers outside Canada, for example in the United States, where local laws may let authorities access it.

How long we keep it

  • Gameplay and analytics data: up to 25 months, then deleted.
  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Emails to us: as long as needed to help you.
  • Your saved game stays on your device until you delete the game or do a full reset.

Your choices and rights

  • See or delete your data: email us with your player ID (shown on the About & Legal page in the game) and we'll tell you what we hold or delete it.
  • Ads: reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in your phone's settings.
  • Mailing list: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Depending on where you live (for example Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have more rights, such as access, correction, deletion and objecting to some uses. Email us to use them. You can also complain to your privacy authority, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

The game is made for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you think a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version here and in the game.
